I don't know how many of you attended yapc 99 (Yet Another Perl Conference) last week, but I gave a talk there "Ineffective Perl Programming", something of a lampoon of Joseph Hall's "Effective Perl Programming". I guess its fun, in a sadistic sort of way. Alot of it is more painful than fun... but I guess that's fun, in a masocistic sort of way... Anyhow, enough people have been bugging me to put the talk up somewhere, so I tossed my raw notes (and I mean RAW) up at http://www.pobox.com/~schwern/IePP/, I figured yinz might want to take a gander at it. Vickie supplied a healthy chunk of the material (thanks again, Vickie!), but she was unable to attend. :( I'll probably organize it somewhat sometime after the 4th. Have fun. -- Michael G Schwern schwern@pobox.com http://www.pobox.com/~schwern /(?:(?:(1)[.-]?)?\(?(\d{3})\)?[.-]?)?(\d{3})[.-]?(\d{4})(x\d+)?/i ==== Want to unsubscribe from Fun With Perl? ==== Well, if you insist...
