The file is described as a pipe delimeted ascii text file. The likelyhood
of a pipe delimited file having binary data included is near zero. Consider
the headache of having binary data that ends up looking like a pipe.

Anyway, just look at his 'sample' data. Does that look like the data of
someone embedding binary values?
