So I can't call for(@a){} a bottom-feeder? Alas...

Thanks for everyone's suggestions. One unfortunate thing about this
is that clever names like "it" turn out very confusing. Anyway, they
are all in the open market now... may the appropriate one win. Having
fun is the main thing, I can't -- uh -- underscore it enough...
