Well, for that purpose, a perl-embedded-in-python module should be quite
sufficient. You could then have your custom Perl modules loaded into the
interpreter and callable from Zope objects.

This is starting to sound like an increasingly interesting idea to me, so
I'll have a look into implementing it. "import perl" and "use python;" sound
very nice indeed.
