Hmm, I have mentioned long ago that JAPH's are fundamentally hazardous. They can contain conceal things to wipe your disk. (Side issue, whats the shortest japh-worm that can quietly attach itself to your .sig file?) Also its a pain to strip a JAPH out, contemplate its deeper meaning and run it for every JAPH that goes by. Now how about this... An engine, that can be attached to procmail that automagically strips out a JAPH and executes it in some kind of safe sandbox. Then, you haven't voted on it before, you given a chance to rate it from 1 to 10. Thereafter it is included as your .sig according to some weighting (freshness, voted value etc.) Thus these .sig memes can more easily (and harmlessly) spread and mutate across the 'net. One would need some highly terse language like perl/tk, but in some way sanitized to prevent the possibility of malicious damage. (Can we ride the Tainting stuff for this?) Any suggestions?
