Not to start a language war, and hopelessly off-topic, but I think all
Perl lovers should switch to Hebrew.  Like Perl, it is painfully
_short_: For instance, I solved this puzzle in my head, and didn't
even need any extra letters (beth-gimel-daleth-heh, bagdah "she
betrayed", or bigdah "her garment", depending on how you put in the
vowels; also yod-kaf-lamed-mem, "will destroy them")!  Then I realised 
you had to do it in English...
