[FWP] Publicizing list

I would like to mention this list in a Perl book, as an example of 
somewhere people who love Perl can go to find others of the same ilk and do 
the things that Perl lovers do.

Before I do that, I would like to know that I won't be annoying the list 
owner or too many members; the list traffic may go up and I have no control 
over whether clueless newbies will send inappropriate posts, although I 
will certainly make the list charter clear.  Comments?
