[FWP] another word for object?

here is a fun word problem. i have these processes which are full of
objects. each object is addressible by a name triplet. the first part is
the process and the second is the object and the third is private to the
object. 

your mission is to come up with a nice short term to use instead of
object. i am sick of the word and i need to name these things and have
%name_to_object maps and such. i can't just call it 'name' either.

so put your brains in verbal neutral and let the free associating
begin. spew forth from your Christiansenian vocabularies and flood this
list.
