Bebob, dohickey, aliquam (?), in Tagalog, or, better, in the Philippines, 
"kwan" is the word akin to 'ding', you (or a less articulate version of 
you) could say "I kwaned the kwan w/ a kwan but it kwaned" (pointing 
perhaps at a car w/ the hood up and an oil puddle spreading slowly across 
the garage floor) and possibly be understood. See also pootpoot.com
