Right, in general OOP practice is to subclass your terminology from the
virtual base class -- Object -- to some new name which matches the idiom
of the problem domain.  The system shouldn't care any if at all if you
rewrite the virtual base class to be Ding or Thingy or Objekt or Guy or
Atom or any of the thousands of indigestible Spaniardized centipedes.
