X10 is a low bandwidth network protocol which runs over household electrical wiring. Lets you network and control all sorts of unlikely things around the house (lights, fishtanks, TVs, garage doors) cheaply. Been around for quite a while. I remember there being a program for the C64 that let you control your house. Only recently has it gotten really popular and cheap. -- Michael G Schwern http://www.pobox.com/~schwern/ schwern@pobox.com Just Another Stupid Consultant Perl6 Kwalitee Ashuranse Yet one of these kittens is not prepared to have a good time.
