Nobody's having any fun.  I know I'm not.  It's midnight here, cold and
dark outside, and I'll have to wake up 5 hours from now.  Not fun at all.

Seriously, on lists like this activity tends to come in bursts.  Someone
comes up with something worthy of discussion, then everyone else jumps in
to tear it to shreds.  Then it's quiet again for a while.
