I have access to a decent company database and I found these
legitimate companies with domains that start with numbers.

 1ST SOURCE CORPORATION www.1stsource.com
21ST CENTURY TELECOM GROUP, INC. www.21stcentury.com
 3I GROUP PLC www.3i.com
 4-D NEUROIMAGING www.4dneuroimaging.com

 3M www.3m.com
 3I HOLDINGS PLC www.3I.com
 3TEC ENERGY CORPORATION www.3tecenergy.com
 5B TECHNOLOGIES CORPORATION www.5btechnologies.com
 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC. www.1800flowers.com
 724 SOLUTIONS INC. www.724.com
 3SI HOLDINGS, INC. www.3si.com
 1-800 CONTACTS INC www.1800contacts.com
 24/7 MEDIA, INC. www.247media.com
 3D LABS INC LTD www.3dlabs.com
 1VALUE.COM AKTTIENGESELLSCHAFT www.1value.com
 36.COM HOLDINGS LIMITED www.36.com

Nowhere near a complete list, but at least some examples. I best liked
36.com, which got me to wondering... 42.com is for sale for
$750,000. Dream on, buddy.

Hope you have a very nice day, :-)
