[MacPerl-AnyPerl] Question about formats

Hello All,

I have the following code in a program:

format SURVEY =
Registrant: @<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<
     $name
..

Unfortunately, I am getting this message:

Format not terminated at wtw_survey line 97, at end of line
Format not terminated at wtw_survey line 97, at end of line
Execution of wtw_survey aborted due to compilation errors.

I have checked perlform.pod using Shuck, but I cannot see what wrong with this
code. Does anyone see what I am missing?
