Hi List, Let me introduce myself: Ruslan Zasukhin, developer of Valentina database. If somebody don't know, this is a db engine which works on many operations in 100-1000 times faster of such dbs as FileMaker, 4D. Right now we are finishing a new product -- Valentina XCMD. Actually this is a combination of -- small 'xfcn' resource 200 bytes -- and Shared Library "Valentina kernel" Somebody from our VXCMD users have note that MacPerl is able to work with XCMDs modules. So I want inform MacPerl community that now you have VERY EFFECTIVE way to work with Valentina database directly from MacPerl. I underline "VERY EFFECTIVE" because combination of xfcn + shared lib works in 20-30 times faster than XCMD itself (yes this was our first attempt, and I was not glad by its speed on function call). If somebody is interested in tests of VXCMD with MacPerl, please go to http://www.paradigmasoft.com If you decide stop by Valentina on long time, then subscribe to Valentina list where you will find several hundreds of Valentina developers. -- Best regards, Ruslan Zasukhin ------------------------- Paradigma. e-mail: ruslan@paradigmasoft.com web : http://www.paradigmasoft.com To subscribe to the Valentina mail list send a letter to valentina-on@lists.macserve.net ==== Want to unsubscribe from this list? ==== Send mail with body "unsubscribe" to macperl-forum-request@macperl.org
