I was having the darndest time getting Mac::Glue to work with Progress Bar.
Finally figured it out: I was converting the data for "progress_bar => 1,
window => 1" to shorts instead of longs.  I'd never seen this be a problem
before ... except ...

This was the same problem I had with FileMaker!  Changing shor to long for
the default fixed it.

Does anyone know if one is generally safer than the other?
