Not only that, but MIT Kerberos 5 for the Mac requires at least Mac OS 7.6.1. I'm stuck at 7.5.5 at the moment. An upgrade to 8.5 is coming (my business partner is moving to Mac OS 9, and I get the cast-offs (donated my Mac to the company when we incorporated. Regular upgrades come as a side benefit), but for the nonce.... I had suspected that to get this to work, you'd need at least the Kerberos SDK, and that a fresh, Mac XS would be required. As Jeff noted, however Mac Kerberos is scriptable, so a Mac::Glue solution is possible (although probably not the most "elegant" choice). Note that full source for Keberos on the Mac is available.... I don't have the time, and not NEAR the level of expertise to tackle this as a project, but if there's anyone else out there with a need for this, please keep in touch with me. --B Brian McNett, Webmaster/MacPerl Guru ************************************************************* Mycoinfo.
