In terms of XML and Perl I think that MacPerl 5.6 is key. Clark Cooper has been making significant efforts to keep XML::Parser prereqs at 5.004 Perl, but that has bitten him already, and it's hard to say how much longer he's going to try. Furthermore, the SAX API for Perl requires a 5.005 Perl. So in this application domain clearly we stand to benefit. I'm not sure what you mean specifically in asking whether any particular version of XML::Parser will work with MacPerl 5.6? Just curious...
