My bad. The binary for XML-Parser-2.27 has been residing alongside 2.26
(patched) for nearly a month. I had forgotten to update MMP. That is now
rectified. Thank you.

In terms of XML and Perl I think that MacPerl 5.6 is key. Clark Cooper has
been making significant efforts to keep XML::Parser prereqs at 5.004 Perl,
but that has bitten him already, and it's hard to say how much longer he's
going to try. Furthermore, the SAX API for Perl requires a 5.005 Perl. So
in this application domain clearly we stand to benefit.

I'm not sure what you mean specifically in asking whether any particular
version of XML::Parser will work with MacPerl 5.6? Just curious...
