[MacPerl-Porters] perl shared library request (or job offer)

I'd like to embed the basic perl interpreter (not necessarily 
including any of the mac-specific aspects of macperl) inside another 
application -- actually, inside a plug-in module I'm writing for 
another application.

It would be nice if there were a (PPC) shared library that supported 
the standard  C embedding API for perl, but as far as I can tell this 
does not exist in any publicly distributed form.

I looked into trying to build such a shared lib myself from the perl 
source code, but found the task daunting.

So I'm wondering:

(1) Is there anyone out there who has such a thing on hand, or would 
find it easy to create?

(2) If not, is there anyone who's interesting in providing me with 
such a shared lib in return for cash?
