[MacPerl-Toolbox] Oops (Getting/setting clipboard)

A few hours ago, I sent a message to the MacPerl-Toolbox list.
Unfortunately, it seems I forgot to resubscribe to it when my e-mail
address changed. Therefore, if you replied on the list to that message
before you saw this one, please resend the message.

In case my message did not get posted, here it is, all two lines:

Is there any way to access the clipboard from MacPerl without sending
Apple Events to a scripting addition?
