In March/April this year David Steffen raised the question of whether there might not be an easy way to draw a window using raw QuickDraw commands. We corresponded about it for a while and tried various ideas. One such was 'EasyWindow.pm' which I dug out today and have put up for comment at: http://www.afco.demon.co.uk/exp/Mac-EasyWindow-0.01.sit.bin I would be very interested to have some feedback on it. Does it show any promise? How might the idea be developed, and if so, in what direction? Overall, what (if anything) is needed to make MacWindows more readily accessible? There is no 'EasyWindow' documentation at all at this stage, but the folder contains three example scripts which pretty much explain everything. It really _is_ easy.
