I have a project which necessitates the scetch below: I want a page to initially display a page with 2 frames , one frame initially blank, the other containing approx 16 signs to an image. When someone accesses that page they can click on the thumbnail and the browser window will now show the enlarged version of the selected image in the above frame. While one visitor to the site has access to an enlarged image from a thumbnail into the frame, the thumbnail of that image is replaced with a "in use" image until the browser with the 'posession' of the enlarged image returns the image,so to speak, by either leaving this particular page or clicks on a button to beturn the image, or clicks on another thumbnail of an unused image. No two browsers can have the same main image at any one time. This will happent to all of the thumbnails, so if 7 people are looking at enlarged versions of 7 of the thumbnail images, those relating 7 thumbnails will show that the image is not available for selection until that enlarged image is left or returned. So, hypothetically (if there are 16 images) only the remaining 9 images will be shown as to be available. Thing is I'm new to all this stuff but do have some one who knows a bit about cgi to help me. Id be greatful if anyone has any pointers, or knows of any available script around that does something similar which can be adapted.
