the first is of course the camel book from O'Reilly "Programming Perl". Even if you're the best programmer a dictionary's nice (yes it also teaches you how to use Perl).

And there's also "MacPerl Power and Ease" by people on our wonderful list. I'll admit to not having it yet, but since it's always brought up I might as well save another the trouble.
