[MacPerl-WebCGI] The SendMail thing

Hello,

I've been immersing myself in MacPerl for about two weeks now, and have
been scouring web sites and newsgroup archives for explanations and
examples of how best to handle creating and sending mail in a cgi.

I'm using Webstar as a server, and have stumbled into what seems to be a
barebones working understanding of using SMTP...

** but I'd really like to study some detailed examples of web
form/cgi/email sending in action, and using at least a somewhat recent
version of what is generally considered the best tool or tools for the
job.

I've been absorbing the MacPerl: Power and Ease book, as well as getting
much out of Perl Black Book, CGI Programming, Perl 5 by Example, and
even Perl for Dummies along with a few other books.

Any examples or directions to some examples would be greatly
appreciated.

Best wishes,

Hugh
