I know after scouring the list archives that this is a oft brought up topic. -seems to some up every 3 months or so. I need a file upload cgi - just something that will let the clients upload a file which the server will place in a single directory and then direct the user to another web page. I have the latest CGI.pm and the file_upload.cgi example does not run correctly with my setup (comparing it to the example CGI run from a unix server at the CGI.pm main site) I have to admit that i am a non-programmer and i have been trying to piece together a script from looking at example source code. there are a number of free scripts that do not utilize CGI.pm such as those found at ftp://ftp.eskimo.com/u/d/dreun/scripts/upload/upload_tar.tar.gz http://www.virtualville.com/pub/cgi/scripts/upload-1.0.tar.Z however neither of them seem to work with MacPERL, and i am not familiar enough with PERL syntax to make the necessary changes. It would probably help reduce the number of requests of this type to the mailing list if someone would just post a link to a script that *DOES* work with MacPERL and is opensource so we could dissect and use it. Anyone searching the archives would be able to find it as well. Is there anyone who could do this? Thanks in Advance!
