Anyone know of good routines to convert Shift-JIS to ISO-2022jp? I need to pass Perl generated e-mail containing some shift-JIS through an NT box that seems to take a fancy to stripping high-bits. Is there a Perl package that handles this? I tried looking ISO-2022 up on perl.com as well as here, didn't find anything. While I'm asking for pointers, could someone remind me where the function that converts a string to base64 is? I thought I saw it in my Nutshell, but I don't see it now. OK, I see references to MIME:Base64 in the porters lists. I guess I"ll have to get the MPW version of Perl running and load MIME in. Maybe I'll see ISO-2022jp in there as well.
