I'm running ASIP 6.3, MacPerl 5.2.0r4 on a Server
G4 400.
I'm trying to get perl cgi's to run, but am having
little luck.
Here's what I've tried so far:
Created a cgi-bin folder (as a general
repository for all perl scripts)
I've written a Perl script and placed it in
the cgi-bin folder
Created a MIME type for the file so ASIP
will know what to open the file as when it's called.
Called the script from a web
form
RESULT: It displayed the code for the Perl
script.
I've written a Perl script and placed it in
the cgi-bin folder
Saved the Perl script as a cgi
Created a MIME type for the file so ASIP
will know what to open the file as when it's called.
Called the script from a web
form
RESULT: It displayed a blank
screen.
What might I need to do additionally that I'm not
catching?
Is there something that I've overlooked that I
should be aware of when attempting to run cgi's like this?
Frustratedly yours,
