Is the non-threadedness of MacPerl and the PCGI glue related at all to whether MacPerl CGI scripts are saved as ".cgi" or ".acgi" for use with WebSTAR? Or, in other words, is it safe to change all my scripts from ".pl" (which I'd set up as a new extension for no particularly good reason) to ".acgi", or does that risk server errors of some sort? Second, if anyone has any experience working with Aretha / Frontier for CGI scripting, and has interesting things to say about the learning curve and/or the execution speed of UserTalk scripts as compared to MacPerl, I'd love to hear from you offline... reply to jar@dnai.com.
