[MacPerl] standard output window bug?

Matt,

I've just recently tried using MacPerl 5.0.5r1m to do some "hello world"
type scripts.

If I do a File Open on my simple script called "new.pl". The file now shows
in its own window. I do a Script Run "new.pl". The script itself is -
-------------------
printf "Hello to you and yours!\x0D";
printf "Hello to you and yours!";
-------------------

The output appears in the MacPerl window with the window coming to the front.

Now if I close the MacPerl window, and do a Script Run "new.pl" again.
Everything except the MacPerl window appearing with the output and coming
to the front happens the same.

In other words it appears that the script can only be run once
successfully. If I quit MacPerl and restart. The same thing happens. The
script produces and output only the first time its run.

Any help you can give me on this subject would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Les Weber
