Judging from the documentation, the older versions probably don't.  Did you
get the very latest version 1.2?  It can directly fire AppleScript CGIs to
handle forms, and might have support for GURL.

The author positions the viewer both as a "document browser" and as a "HTML
lint"; it is very strict with HTML interpretation, it does not make any
network connections, but it uses Internet Config to resolve network links.
I wonder if the author went full length and implemented GURL himself?  :-)
