[MacPerl] remote control example

Hello, I am new to this list, but have searched the list archives with
little to no success.  I am an "experienced" unix perl person, playing
with mac perl for a project.

My question is this, could someone send me an example of an apple
script and a perl script which interact through the 'remote control'
technique?  (ie, the apple script does something like:

tell application "macperl"
        do script "blah" mode "Remote"
end tell

and the perl script replies, etc)
