[MacPerl Announcement] Meta-Announcement

Dear subscribers,

today, in an energy burst, I finally managed to arrange for the

   mac-perl-announce@iis.ee.ethz.ch

mailing list to be created. This is intended to be a low-traffic,
moderated mailing list carrying only announcements about MacPerl related
product releases, thus providing for the busier among you a way to keep
in touch with MacPerl releases without unduly burdening your mailbox 
(I hope to keep traffic to 1-2 messages per week).

All postings to mac-perl-announce automatically get forwarded to the MacPerl
mailing list. Unless I hear major objections from perl5-porters, I also 
intend to add p5p in a few days.

To subscribe to mac-perl-announce, send a mail to 

    mac-perl-announce-request@iis.ee.ethz.ch

With the body consisting of the single word "subscribe" (You will *not* be
automatically removed from the mac-perl mailing list, so please subscribe
manually instead of complaining to me about mail duplicates).
