[MacPerl] convert awk to macperl? -- a2p for mac?

hello,

I tried to find a converter for awk-script to MacPerl.
In the archives (Archie Search) I only found unix /linux binary.

Is there a port to Mac? -- Where can I obtain?
(BTW, in the file "Welcome to MacPerl 5", the tool a2p is mentioned in the release 5.0.1r1m 31Oct95; but I do not know where to get the a2p, when tere are no references are given)
