[MacPerl] Trouble opening template file

Hi all,

I'm new to this list; we'll actually I'm newly re-subscribed to the list
after several months absence. I'm running MacPerl 5, and I'm implementing a
series of templates and scripts to create a storefront.Everything seems to
be working fine, but I can't open the template file for some reason. This
script returns "" immediately if it can't open the template file; in this
case "store.html". The line in question reads:

print &Templates::FillTemplateFile("../templates/store.html", %vars);

The script is in a directory called cgi-bin. The path to the store template is

http://www.landrush.com/Tango/cgi-bin/templates/store.html

While the path to the script "store.pl" is

http://www.landrush.com/Tango/cgi-bin/store.pl

So I can't understand why the file can't be opened. Is ../ a legitimate way
to change directories in MacPerl?

Also, How do I run scripts with swithches (like -w). I know that in UNIX
you specify the swithches on the command line. How is this done in MacPerl?

Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

Robert
