[MacPerl] MacPerl 510r2 doesn't run in background

Hello,

I have a problem with [Big]MacPerl 510r2 on my quadra 610. I used to be
able to go on working with other programs while perl was at work. If I run
a script with MacPerl 510r2, I don't get back control till the script
exits. Menus are greyed out. Any suggestion?
