hello, just got back from vacation and saw this - thanks for the tip! i removed IC from my 8500 and, lo and behold, the problem disappeared... (it didn't fix the IIfx, but i suspect that machine has other problems). looks like a bug in MacPerl and/or IC. MacPerl::Quit(1) isn't working for me, either - it doesn't quit from a runtime. (2) works fine. alex. >Date: Sat, 9 Nov 1996 12:35:16 +0900 >From: nfujita@lab.nig.ac.jp (Nobuyuki Fujita) >Subject: Re: [MacPerl] runtime problems >Message-ID: <1364579439-78043782@pol2.lab.nig.ac.jp> > >At 7:59 AM 96.11.7, alex dosher wrote: >> hi, >> >> is anyone else having problems getting runtime versions to work in >> 5.1.0r2? my runtimes open, but don't do anything but put up the standard >> menu bar; if i then choose Run Script... and select myself, i'll run, but >> without benefit of @ARGV. this happens on both PPC and 68k, 7.5.3r2. >> >> help? >> >> alex. > >Yes.
