[MacPerl] Automated mail packaging script?

Does anyone have or know of a script that will do the following (on a Mac,
using Eudora for Email):

for all files in directory / folder

    package the file into a MIME message and send to X address

    move file into a "sent" mail folder

The files are sync files for a particular program and the filename
is unique based on an internal system. Each different file will
have a new name so it needs to support a directory lookup before
attempting to run.

Our systems can be set to generate the files automatically but
I have no good way of sending them off. If it can be incorporated
into the outgoing Eudora queue -- all the better.
