Hi! I'm running into some difficulties getting any kind of environment variables to show up in my CGI's. I write in MacPerl and the scripts are run on a WebSTAR server. For whatever reason, my testing CGI that prints out all the ENV values prints out nothing at all. I'm thinking it may have something to do with the glue. After trying dozens of times to get the glue from wherever it was mentioned and failing (after trying for a minute or two, Netscape eventually gives up on whatever server it is that houses the PCGI glue) I read somewhere that the glue comes with the latest version on the MacPerl tools, which I have. Apparently, if you've got the tools, you've got the glue. BTW, it's version 513r2 that I've got. At any rate, I'm under the gun right now to get the HTTP_REFERER variable out of the ether and into our website and the %ENV is drawing a big blank! When I save my script in MacPerl, I save it as a "CGI Script", not as a "MacHTTP CGI" like many have mentioned. That's because it's not an option. So is the fact that it's not an option my problem? Do I need and not have the glue? Do I have the glue and not have it installed? Any advice would be mucho appreciado! Dankeschnell!
