I've used it "unmodified," but not since v. 2.21 or something.  It is
several versions past that now.

Just make sure it is saved with Mac linebreaks and not UNIX linebreaks.
Put it in your lib (or site_perl, preferably) directory and it should work.

Although, when Matthias releases the next version, CGI.pm should be included.
