Someone who obviously never scripted for a Microsoft OS?

Take more pity than usual: every time you turn around it is '\\' vs '\' vs 
'\/' vs '/' x (permutations to get qq()).  It gets really whacky really fast 
especially when you try to combine with a unix like shell and/or cmd.exe.
