Chris Nandor pointed out to me that the mechanics of tainting had changed a lot
since I'd last looked at the issue. It took me then actually about 10 minutes
of my life to implement tainting support of some kind, although it remains to
be tested whether it works ok. Given that I'd already spent more time than that
today raving about the aesthetic merits of Maine Coons, I thought that was a
reasonable time investment for that feature.

To appear shortly in a MacPerl release near you.
