I just had some discussion with FaceSpan on this.  I could not offer my help, as I am quite busy at the moment.  The biggest obstacle they probably have is making MacPerl respond to specific events (clicks and such), but I think it is doable.

If anyone is interested in possibly helping FaceSpan out, or discussing it with them, this is the contact I have:
