[MacPerl] Creating an interface

Hi everyone,

My 3rd time on this list now... Guess I'll just keep coming back until I
die... :-)

I've been using Perl, off and on, for almost 3 years now. I'm fairly
comfortable with most aspects of the language, and I've used quite a bit
of it to get some of my job's tasks completed (I'm a webmaster for an ad
agency).

Anyway, I'm ready to move to the next level, but I'm having a really hard
time. I want to start using GUI elements in my scripts. I have a project
I'm working on that is going to be used by graphic designers, so it needs
to be fairly self-explanatory and have an interface that's easy to use.
I'm totally out of my element here. I've looked at the pods on
Mac::Resources and Mac::Dialogs, but it's going over my head. I'm missing
something important.

So, here's my humble request: Does anyone out there have some sample code
for loading dialog resources and using them in a perl standalone? I've
looked around the MacPerl distribution, but I can't seem to find any
examples with this type of interface. If anyone could give me a little
direction, I would be most grateful.

Thanks once again,
Troy the prodigal perler
