Hey all again. I reckon after all that my question must not be frequently asked, as there's actually a known problem with myself: obliviousness to crucial detail. You know how perl and applescript are different languages? Well it turns out that if you're fooling with your applescript and so comment out a line from the big string you're building it from, well, if you use a # it just isn't going to do your applescript a bit of good. See, I had to get to work at 5:30 this morning, and don't seem to have gotten over it.
