Hi, We have written a "connection script" under macperl that connect all our users to our server automatically. For that purpose, macperl is installed on all the mac of the lab. The pb is that when we launch a word document (word is installed on a network server) it launch macperl. I ve try to zap the PRAM, rebuild the desktop, launch word open the doc, save it quit word and launch the doc after :it continue to launch macperl (CRISIS!). The server is an NT server (i know it is bad) and the association MSWD/WDBN is correct. So: i believe the mac to have a database where is stocked the info "for appl type launch path:app" where it is ? how to read it and modify it ? (with what soft?) many thanks in advance -- Laurent BARDI Ingenieur Systemes & Reseaux Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique INSTITUT de PHARMACOLOGIE et de BIOLOGIE STRUCTURALE Tel : 05-61-17-59-47 http://www.ipbs.fr/ Fax : 05-61-17-59-94 lolo@ipbs.fr CNRS-IPBS 205 Route de Narbonne 31400 TOULOUSE FRANCE /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// / There is worse than to have not succeded : / / Not to have tried ! / /////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// If it stinks, it's chemistry.
