Re: [MacPerl] appl_cfm68K release

AFAIK you need:

        AppleScripLib 1.2.2 Tue 12 Sep 1995
        ObjectSupportLib 1.2 Wed 29 Jan 1997
        CFM-68K Runtime Enabler 4.0 Wed 26 Feb 1997
        MacCFM68k Tue 11 Nov 1997

I am not absolutely sure where the AppleScriptLib and ObjectSupportLib are
supposed to go, but I have them in the MacPerl folder and MacPerl seems to
be able to find them. The Runtime Enabler goes in the Extensions folder of
course, and the MacCFM68k folder (which comes with MacPerl515r4CFM68k) goes
in the MacPerl Ä:lib folder.

There was some discussion on this, in the summer I think, and I will try to
dig this out. From memory, version 1.2 of the ObjectSupportLib and version
4.0 of the Runtime Enabler are the very earliest which work.

Amongst the contributions to the list in the summer was a reference from
Matthias to an Apple document on the chequered history of the Runtime
Enabler which is interesting, but only tells us that everything before
version 4.0 was unstable. I will do my best to fish this out too.

All the Toolbax calls I have tried so far have worked perfectly. There were
problems in 5.1.3 (?) in the summer with AppleEvents and some other
modules, but Matthias has resolved these in version 5.1.5.

I will come back to you later with anything I can find in the archives.
