The problem is that there`s no way for a User Agent to know
<mac-perl@iis.ee.ethz.ch> will also be delivered to
<packrat@blitzen.canberra.edu.au> thus making this a manual operation
for the user. Annoying an easy to forget. You could of course build
"intelligence" into the listserver so it won`t send a copy to
<packrat@blitzen.canberra.edu.au> if that mailbox is mentioned somewhere
in the To or Cc fields. That solution is a bit hairy tho'.

No need for filters. Eudora (Pro 3.x, at least) supports this directly.
It`s kinda slow, but it works.
