I just started to play around with todays release of MacPerl. The toolbox modules seem to work fine, but when I run ControlWindow.t errors occured when closing the control window: (1) First 5 or 6 times When I run the test-script, <<Okey Dokey>> and <<Scratch That>> appear in <STDOUT> as expected. But when I try to close the Controlwindow MacPerl quits with error 1. ( German "Fehlermeldung": Das Programm "Unbekannt" wurde unerwartet beendet, weil der Fehler 1 aufgetreten ist.) (2) After some rebooting and launching of ControlWindow.t Same behaviour as (1) but now MacPerl doesn't quit with error one. When closing the ControlWindow the Cursor still moves, but neither the Finder nor the MacPerlMenue are reachable (Freezing while Cursor moves). <<Apple>>+<<.>> doesn't work. The only way back to the world is to force MacPerl to quit. <<Apple>> <<alt>> <<esc>>. After re-installing MacPerl I still have the same behaviour as in (2). Does other MacPerlers have the same behaviour? I am runing on: System 7.5.5 (German Version); Quadra650 with PPC-Upgradecard MacPerl with 10 Megabytes Memory (no virtual memory) HAPPY NEW YEAR to all and thanks to Matthias for the new toy.
