[MacPerl] appleevents and macperl(more detail)

I was given a good url

but a couple of questions remain.

What I want to do is send a Doscript command to frontier with its argument
and then assign its return to a variable in perl.

I am poking around, and will probably come up with a solution, but I figure
I would ask since I am sure someone has already gone opn this journey.
