[MacPerl] Scripting I/O


I can pass MacPerl variables to an Applescript but is it possible to get
the value of an Applescript variable back into my MacPerl script?  That
is, when I run an Applescript from the Script Editor the output is
displayed to a screen, but not when I run the Applescript from within
MacPerl.
